Dinner Plate Cycle by POMAX is a tribute to the earth, part of a tableware collection inspired by the peony and the slow, quiet rhythms of nature, from seed to flower. Nature speaks without words, revealing itself instead through its transformations: deep beneath the ground, the earth rests before coming back to life as seeds sprout and shoots grow, each unfolding at its pace.
Every piece in the collection captures such a moment in this natural cycle, inviting stillness and an appreciation for its almost invisible nuances. Designed by artist Sophie Casier, the plate is made from hand painted, glazed stoneware, measures 27 cm in diameter by 1.8 cm in height, and is oven safe up to 200 degrees Celsius, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
Dinner Plate Cycle van POMAX is een eerbetoon aan de aarde, onderdeel van een serviescollectie geïnspireerd op de pioenroos en de stille, trage ritmes van de natuur, van zaadje tot bloem. De natuur spreekt zonder woorden, maar toont zich via haar gedaanteveranderingen: diep onder de grond rust de aarde, om later weer tot leven te komen wanneer zaadjes ontkiemen en kiemen groeien, elk in zijn eigen tempo.
Elk stuk in de collectie vangt zo'n moment in die natuurlijke cyclus en nodigt uit tot verstilling en het voelen van de bijna onzichtbare nuances. Ontworpen door kunstenares Sophie Casier, is het bord gemaakt van handgeschilderd, geglazuurd steengoed, meet het DIA 27 x H 1,8 cm en is het ovenbestendig tot 200 graden Celsius, en tevens vaatwasmachine- en magnetronbestendig.
Dinner Plate Cycle de POMAX est un hommage à la terre, issu d'une collection de vaisselle inspirée par la pivoine et les rythmes lents et silencieux de la nature, de la graine à la fleur. La nature s'exprime sans mots, mais se révèle à travers ses métamorphoses : profondément enfouie sous terre, la terre se repose avant de reprendre vie, tandis que les graines germent et incitent, chacune à son propre rythme.
Chaque pièce de la collection capture un tel instant de ce cycle naturel, invitant à la contemplation et à ressentir des nuances presque invisibles. Conçue par l'artiste Sophie Casier, l'assiette est fabriquée en grès émaillé peint à la main, mesure DIA 27 x H 1,8 cm et résiste au four jusqu'à 200 degrés Celsius, ainsi qu'au lave-vaisselle et au micro-ondes.
